How Does ZOJE-Z2009 Full-Height Turnstile Protect High-Security Scenes?

2025-09-26

In indoor spaces with stringent security requirements, such as banks and laboratories, the passive defense model of traditional access control and alarm systems has always been unable to completely address core security risks such as tailgating and illegal intrusion. ZOJE's recently launched ZOJE-Z2009 AB glass full-height turnstile, with its innovative active defense architecture and refined security control design, provides a more reliable entrance and exit security solution for these highly confidential spaces.

The core advantage of this full height turnstile lies in its full-process anti-tailgating system, incorporating intelligent security logic at every step. Upon entry, a user triggers the door opening by swiping a card, fingerprint, or facial recognition (three optional methods available). The system first detects the presence of anyone on the opposite side of the door and inside. Once confirmed, the user stands in the sensing area or uses a facial fingerprint reader, and the outer door automatically opens.

Once the user enters the turnstile, the outer door immediately closes, and the system simultaneously initiates dual authentication: reconfirming the user's identity and using intelligent detection to determine if anyone is tailgating. Only when the three conditions of "no tailgating," "outer door closed," and "identity verification passed" are simultaneously met will the inner door open with a voice prompt. After the user exits, the inner door quickly closes, and the system returns to its initial state, ensuring precise security control without manual intervention.

The ZOJE-Z2009 combines durability and customization in its hardware. It defaults to 304 stainless steel and tempered glass, but can be upgraded to corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel and impact-resistant bulletproof glass for higher requirements. Dimensions and aisle widths can be customized to suit different space layouts. A dual-door interlock design with a brushless motor prevents the security vulnerability of simultaneous opening of the inner and outer doors, while also reducing operating noise and improving stability. It can also switch between one-way and two-way modes to accommodate varying foot traffic patterns. Its performance is also impressive, with an unlocking response time of just 0.2 seconds. Optimized for indoor working environments, it operates stably in temperatures ranging from -70°C to 15°C and relative humidity ≤95% (non-condensing), ensuring safety and control capabilities even in challenging temperature and humidity environments like laboratories.

The functional design balances safety and convenience. A built-in "fail-safe" function automatically switches to safe mode in the event of a sudden malfunction, ensuring evacuation. LED indicators display real-time device operating status and access permissions, making it easy for users and administrators to understand the situation. In emergencies, the turnstile automatically unlocks, ensuring rapid evacuation. Regarding access control integration, the turnstile features a standardized external electrical interface, seamlessly integrating with ID cards, IC cards, EM cards, fingerprint and facial recognition devices, QR code systems, and even ESD systems, eliminating the need for major system modifications and reducing upgrade costs. To combat illegal activities, the ZOJE-Z2009 incorporates a multi-dimensional control system: it prevents unauthorized door opening by jumping, assisting, or otherwise during facial verification; it detects strangers tailgating in real time and supports forced exit; and it triggers an alarm if double doors are opened for an extended period. It also controls illegal passengers and overweight items, preventing multiple people from entering simultaneously, achieving truly "unmanned" and efficient security management.

For enterprises and institutions around the world committed to building smarter, more proactive and more reliable security lines of defense, ZOJE-Z2009 not only provides a solution, but also demonstrates a new paradigm for future-oriented security management.
